Its not working for me please help

When i try to run it, it runs the first cinematic, then says "There seems to be a problem with your Direct X".

I have Downloaded the correct direct x they wanted its 9.0c. Thats the minimum one. It still does it though. Am I not installing direct x right ? Please help giv me any information. A how-to or anything PLEASE

    You should be able to go to settings and then if your underhigh render choose the directx9 not 10. try that

    ok it says directx9 sm1 and thats the only option I have and I HAVE downloaded the one it calls for but cant figure out how to run it. Its not in the options the only option is directx9sm1

    No I am xp. I usually don't have problems with games like this.

    hmmmmm. then i dont really know what else to do. Have you tryed reinstal?

    yea .... just forget bout it this game sucks if it aint gonna work... its fine thanks for trying to help
