RYL-recruitin gms? game destined to be exploited..

I dunno what RYL NA are playing at but this is gota be one of the dumbest things you can do concerning gms. Imo every GM should be on your pay roll and so if they even consider cheating they are gona be done out of a job. Mir had volunteer gms and the number of them who went bad was crazy. How on earth you would consider volunteer gms 4 a game is insane, you give them the power to totally unbalance,destroy your economy and basically trash your game. I personally would not play a game with gms who were not on the payroll becos its inevitable that 1 gm will give stuff to his friends and i cant stand favouristism

Why do i post this? I saw the other day some guy who was part of the RYL team post, i 4get who but hopefully he will notice this and wake up and realise what he has set himself up for.

And who's the say that those player GMs can create items or have any advantage other than solve other players problems and contact the RYL team more easily?

They don't get the power that you guys are thinking of. They get very limited power. If the company likes their performance than they move them to payed positions. The powers on the forums will probably be limited to one forum. They will be able to lock and to move posts. In game they will not be able to abuse it in anyway. They have to play the game just like us. They will not be playing under their name on the forum but will be able to answer questions and such under the same name. Also they won't have the power to ban someone or that sort of thing. They can relay info to the payed mods who can choose what to do about it. And if a mod abuses their powers whats to stop the company from kicking them out and taking the powers from them. It's not that hard to do. If they had a lot of problems then they would change it to payed positions only but they are giving us a chance and it at least shows us that we are important to them unlike CIB.

Well, they are looking for people with previous experience first.

They are also going to take some of the people who are originally volunteers and move them up to paying positions.  But to have a decent amount of GM coverage, there will most likely always be volunteers.

Need to know more about what you're talking about before you start talking about it.
