No More Grindfest

I am looking for a game which is different and not just about to kill thousands of mobs, get items and higher level, and do some pvp...

I could write pages about my gaming history and opinions about games but I think it is better to list some requiments to describe what kind of game I'm looking for.

Requiments: NO more brainless grinding and even if I must grind there should be features/system which will balance it (So don't tell me about games like Rappelz, Silkroad online,Rohan, Requiem and other pointless games designed for bots).

If its free its better but if the game is cool I'll buy it with pleasure but I hate monthly fees. If I really don't have any options I'll even pay monthly fees but only if I don't have to buy the game for hundreds of dollars and then pay like 20-30$ every month, nah thats nonsense.

And finally the graphics should be... hmm... should look like... well, you know there are some asian MMOs with those childish or whatever graphics, I just can't stand them they look like sh**. For example mu online, counqer online, Domo etc. Those games have such a "strange" graphics I can't even belive how can anyone play with them.

P.S.: Probably I just need a Great group to play with and then the game wouldn't  matter so if you can please advise me a good one, thanks.

    Two things:

    #1: No game costs hundreds of dollars to purchase.

    #2: No game costs $20 - $30 a month to play.

    As for a game suggestion, perhaps Guild Wars?

    Judging by how much thought the OP put into this post, I'd say they wouldn't have enough patience for EVE. Great game though.

    Guild Wars is best choice.

    I would say Guild Wars, but you may have to grind Ursan rank a little.

    Try out LOTRO...there really isn't much grinding, graphics are great story line is awesome and the quests are good. It's also not gear-centric, it's more about the journey than the destination.

    Nah, I wouldn't try LotRO. Lots of generic-MMO quest centric leveling. Good story, but the quests are just....blah.

    It is truew most of them are written very well and the Epic quests are just that, Epic.

    LOTRO is epic grind lol. Constant kill quests, the lore that everyone yabbers about is obscenely spread out, sometimes you will need to do kill quests for 5 lvls just to get to 1 group quest thats over in 30 minutes.

    Guild Wars is my suggestion, by far.
