Bad enough that it is added to most public water supplies, now people think its something good for your baby to drink. There are many different types of fluoride, therefore taking information out of context is quite unfair and just plain silly. Hydrogen, is the primary ingredient for HCl, a dangerous acid that will kill you !!!

I hate to say it but if you think fluoride in the water is bad, try finding out what's in your toothpaste. There's a reason they don't list the ingredients and tell you not to swallow it: Formaldehyde for one.
Any of the products you consume or use on a daily basis likely carry toxic, carcinogenic, or some other 'ic chemicals or compounds. Heck, if you go outside you're recieving solar radiation.

Hydrogen, is the primary ingredient for HCl, a dangerous acid that will kill you !!!
And Chlorine is a dangerous and highly reactive substance that can ignite in water.... Stay away from table salt.
And carbon, used in Ethane C2H6 is a by-product of PETROLIUM REFINING.. therefore you should not eat any carbon based lifeforms...

I hate to say it but if you think fluoride in the water is bad, try finding out what's in your toothpaste. There's a reason they don't list the ingredients and tell you not to swallow it: Formaldehyde for one.
Any of the products you consume or use on a daily basis likely carry toxic, carcinogenic, or some other 'ic chemicals or compounds. Heck, if you go outside you're recieving solar radiation.

I remember ages ago I ended up moving to a different location when I was in 3rd grade. Ended up moving to the new location at the beginning of 3rd grade and the old school didn't use this crud as their morning ritual. They were handing these out at the new school and I was like wth is this?, I saw everyone else put it in their mouth so I just assumed they swallowed it, rofl!. I popped it in, swallowed and then the teacher was like " ok kids swish it around in your mouth for a while, don't swallow!:.
Was sick as heck for the rest of the day, had the runs something terrible the next day

Thanks to Nasica for stating one of the primary points I was trying to make much more succiently and hopefully more clearly than I originally did. But just for clarification here's another stab at it:
Just because one element is contained in a compound which is harmful does not make the element itself harmful. Hence, a lot of the information given above about fluoride in sarin, nuclear material, etc. is patently silly with just a wheeee bit of knowledge about some truly basic chemistry.
