That necro forum thread with all of the videos on it was the best I have seen on AoC forums. Some of those were really funny; I think it has been taken down. I wonder how many of the other posters were banned? Some of those videos were really brutal.

Stop living in denial, most threads that are aimed at criticizing (even if well within the civil and decency boundaries) are locked at minimum.

I think that you know they could simply have deleted it. Banned for a funny, short, and not offensive video. You know there is no excuse not for a ban. I mean I got banned here just recently but I deserved it and knew what i said would ban me. This is was a silly video that could have been on any MMO boards on any patch day.
I think you know on some level that what you are providing is not context. Its simply plain weak. Could there have been more constructive feedback? Sure but you know it is completely out of bounds to ban someone for it. And posting something as short and silly as that vid is not bad. Not at all. In fact its actually good. It blows off steam.

Really? Banned for that? I actually laughed out loud at it! If I was banned for that, I'd definitely contact their head moderator; I'm willing to bet that whichever new moderator abused their power like that would promptly be fired.
I've been perma banned from the SWG forums (back in the day) for posting a link to a sci-fi-spoof. The moderator called me a racist for linking the movie 'cs it had the "N" word in it, even though the entire cast were black.
And I'm frequently banned here for equally humerous posts. It all depends on which forum section you post material on. Honestly, the forum mods here are all over the place and never enforce any consistentcy for what is or is not acceptable. For example, I was banned for refereing the Troll icon as a responce to someone who was blatantly trolling, go figure.
That was funny... not sure why you deserved to be banned for that. If I was in your situation I'd contact them immediately (if even possible) and have whoever abused their power against you kicked off their throne.
I got more enjoyment out of these vids than I did out of the game... The money I paid for the box should have gone to you guys
