Another great gay/lesbian community Lakeview in Chicago Belmont + Halsted. Chicago is also very lib and accepting city. Rent is so-so 500-700 for studio or room in 2 or 3 bedroom.
Or a kitteh! All of my friends are in Britain and here I am, stuck in the US for another 2 years or so. I have a sister whom I see from time to time and two lovely nephews that I hardly ever see at all. (one is at THAT age and the other lives too far for casual visits) Here at home, I have my husband (15 years!) and two kitties. I never had cats before and I got them last year. (both rescues) Now I don't know how I lived without them! I'm not all that alone, I guess, but I do miss my friends, although I only have a few. I've seen them only two or three times in the last 7 years.
My brother in law has a friend who is transgendered. He had such a hard time forming friendships and feeling so maladjusted before for such a long time, he never really made many friends. What he did was find a good support group in his area. He even found that online. He made a lot of seriously good friends through that group, some transgenderred ad some not. It's worth a try, no?
Isn't there some way you can get together with some of your internet friends? It sounds as if you feel close to them and I can't see any reason not to consider them "real" friends and try and take it to the next level.
Nods, the world is full of them. What's more attractive and fun than someone who has something to say and has a brain.
as far as someone who you would choose to spend your life with then yes entirely, i couldnt stand anyone who didnt give me a challenge i would die on the inside.
As for the online thing id say give it a shot, its how i met my GF was from online games
go outside and see so many people crossing by you. a lot of beautiful things will attract you. listen to happy music , read stories and so on...there are still many things to do even be alone..

there are things to do but it doesnt change the fact as being a human we are a social race, its a basic instinct to be around other humans.
hi, make more friends..let your life full of different things. however, sometimes you want to be alone, you could play PSP..listen to music and so on..
Somtimes I go out for a day and just throw myself into society and see what happens, usually I go to starbucks and read, but other times I go out to eat or looking through stores and such. Normally I just play mmo's tho
Even so, I keep to myself pretty much cause im pretty self concious about myself and honestly I dont like interacting with people. Since summers started i haven't really got in touch with anybody, just kind of lay around the house, or if I go out i go by myself, which personally I think is fine.
To be completely honest I started SI'ing a few weeks before school ended to cope with being alone kind of, not the best path to follow, but you do what you have to.
Anyways like I said, you could just throw yourself outside, drive around/go for a long ass walk/etc. and see what happens, might run into someone you know or somthing. Let someone know where you are though and where your going just to be safe, theirs creeps out there -_-
Getting a pet is nice to if your a pet person
However as another poster said before me, somtimes you just gotta suck it in and ignore it.
