A Zombie MMO? Yes, it's being created.

          A friend and I, along with help from odds and ends friends in the industry are creating a Zombie MMO.

It's nothing fancy to look at, since we're just going to be using sprites for now, but hammering out the gameplay at the same time. It'll look and play like a mix between Secret of Mana, A Link to the Past and Ragnarok Online.

   Any screen shots and such I can muster up, I'll be posting around. Once we come up with a title that's unique and easily searchable  I will also post it up. This is being done for the fun of it, for all the people who wished there was a ZOMBIE MMO.

  If you have any suggestions on what your ideal zombie mmo would have in it, then reply with some ideas and we'll do our best to implement them into the game.

 Some things we have planned have a lot to do with groups/safe houses you can join. There could possibly be rewards for the amount of supplies you bring back, as well as the amount of zombies you take down. Unlocking the use of certain weapons/armor/items.

   We're also playing with a few ideas on how characters are made.

Do they start out first level, and level up depending on things they do?

or are you given a certain amount of points, so that everyone can create their own balanced character.

 

Also, depending on how many days you stay alive you are rewarded as well.  Players will be able to see how long you've been alive and any other titles you've acquired.

 

Now I don't wanna give away too much in one post, so lets save some of the other ideas for later.
