3 mini-patches on the same day as the regular patch and I still had problems with zone loading and "fell" through the stairs a couple of times. May just have to give it away. ( 8800gt. 4 gb ram ).

I enjoy the game and think the graphics are great but the constant technical issues are starting to get to me.

Aye I know the feeling. I love the game, at least the feel to it, but the technical problems are bloody annoying. So very often I have to adjust the graphic settings once I enter a new zone or instance because suddenly everything is stuttering. Random lagspikes that always seem to happen when you start a fight. When you try to cornerpull a mob they vanish into the walls for a while. The actionbar often just refuses to acknowledge that you are trying to start a combo/spell leading to yet another frustrating death, random disconnects and an extreme lack of itemization. And what annoys me most is that quests that have been bugged since beta are still bugged... yet every patch seem to be focussed on balancing issues and let's face it, balancing patches are of all times and will never result in anything close to true balance. I just wish their main focus was on fixing old bugs and adding content first. Sure balancing is a problem for pvpers, but since that's about the hardest thing to get done why not focus on the basics first?

The game has great potential, but I'm already mostly seeing it as an unfinished singleplayer game that probably won't hold my interest long enough for Funcom to get this game working smoothly. Also the lack of content makes me want to go slow, but just ends up with me making new alts once I hit 40+.

Ah well, I'll enjoy it as long as it lasts and can always return to LotRO or give another mmo a c hance once I truly lost my patience.

P.s. Allthough I truly loved the combatsystem at first, it really starting to get old fast for me.

P.p.s. Yup I'm in a whiny mood today.

My lagspikes seem to coincide with the "deathblow" animations...which cost me precious time in a fight anyway..so i wish there was an option to turn them off...(given some time FC will prolly give that option anyway)

I noticed some graphics glitches starting in the last 3 days....  it could be just bad timing..but i installed a logitech quick cam then too...am considering blaming Logitech....their tech support with not even cooperate with firefox, so don't expect support over a game from them....   but I am enjoying AoC very much...despite the patches....  I have a 15/15 Mbit Fios connection..hehe...patches go fast for me.

The 10k lagspikes is known server problem that has been plauging the game since early closed beta.   It was the biggest factor that lead to ppl NOT grouping up in closed beta cause ppl were constantly dcing and servers going down.  It is the server side - Not the client side causing this.
