Is it worth starting out as a newbie?

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Since its been almost a year and half since V:SoH has been out, is it worth starting to play now as a newbie?  I'm willing to try it out if there's plenty of content and community for new players.  Or am I going to be limited because of all the higher level players?

    I would say yes.

    1) A lot of new palyers just entering the game right now.  Trial Island is right around the corner which will bring in even more new people.

    2) Everyone rolls ALTs.  I have a lvl 8 Necro and a lvl 12 warrior I have been neglecting.

    IMHO, vanguard is the most soloable game out there. I mostly play alone, even when there's lots of ppl around. I'm kind of a lone wolf that way :D I run around exploring, harvesting, seeing how mean mobs I can solo etc etc :) give it a try, I'd say.
