To hell with this game for good...they have made the bounty hunter class 100% worthless in the newest chapter. If you have a bounty on you, all you have to do is check a box and it hides you....that is fuckin bullshit. There has been a ton of benign posts and threads deleted over the last several days. Somebody's panties are in a bunch over something. I wonder if it has anything to do with the very large EQ/EQ2 Legends advertisement...
Did you have access during the trial two months ago? It seems the current trial is for folks who didn't get the last one. I assume it has to do with no increase in people resubscribing to the game from the last trial. Hell, there was a thread on the OBoard claiming that not having a summer bump in players was a good thing. This was posted in the middle of the last trial, so it would seem that a bunch of former players didn't even bother to log in.
If some didnt know SOE removes your toon from the game, I believe after a 6 month inactive period and as I tried no getting it back. For me to log on for 'free' play is idiotic. Im not willing to be a lvl 1 nooblet just to be let down again.
On the other hand Im still shocked SWG actually has a forum still, thought SOE would have takin it over and hired positive bloggers to promote their incredible game.
If you haven't already been on a free trial recently, like within a few months or so, and have not been banned from the game, then you should be able to log in free of charge until the end of July. Enjoy! (In whichever way you choose! )

I left in good standing about 1 1/2 years ago but I won't ever go back to SWG. SWG is not the Star Wars game that I had hoped it would be. CU/NGE aside, SWG just is not really a Star Wars like game to me. Unfortunately, it took me over 3 years of playing SWG to realise that.

Actually that is not true. SOE (or any other MMO for that matter) rarely gets rid of old characters. SOE, at least up to last year, has said they would not delete old characters from inactive accounts. That does not mean that they won't delete houses from locations if the upkeep runs out. Even then, I think SOE holds the house in you backpack with all contents if you decide to resub.
