Texture/Graphics Question

Ok, I've recently came back to try VG again.

About 3 weeks ago I saw a user here post some screen shots of his characters on the character select screen. These screenies were amazing, they reminded me of the characters in EQ2 somewhat, only they looked even better. I wish I could reference what I'm talking about here, but my question is this:

Is there a texture pack out there, community made, that upgrades these character models? Is there optional graphical content somewhere that I have not seen?

No whatever you saw is standard VG graphics.  There are many settings in the game however to adjust the quality of the graphics but frankly they all look pretty damn good compared to most MMORPGs on the market.

Are'nt they coming out with new charcter models soon, i coud of sworn i saw that somewhere.

yes, they are doing new character models with some more customizable features( facial bones they took out to add in helms, and hopefully the gnomes will get their eyebrows back)

I too recently came back and i'm glad I gave the game a second chance it has improved quite a bit.  If you are someone who is looking for a MMO game to play I would give VG another shot.
