System requirements for Diablo3

I know the game isnt out yet and even near to be out yet, but i know some of you have some speculations on what kind of PC you will need to run it.  i only have a 3gz single core processor (only downfall), 3.5 gb ram, and 8800GT card, think i will be fine?

No you won't be able to run it, sorry.

<Mod edit> The game was announced a couple of days ago so there's no way in hell that noone knows the requirements.image

Considering the tradition of blizzard games and the 15-20 min D3 gameplay video, I dont think the reqs will be too high.

    Processor: Pentium 200 or higher

    RAM: 64MB or higher

Hard Drive Space: at least 300MB of free space

Video Card: Must have at least 4MB RAM or higher

Operating System: Windows 98 or higher

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

Probably anything 2 GB or higher cpu with about 512 ram and a mediocre vid card should do.  Look at the old diablo games and consider the time it was released and what kind of platform it required.  But then again probably not even that high.

I doubt they'd want to release a game that requires you to severely upgrade your computer.  They'd much rather make a game that will play right out of the box on just about any current PC so that they can sell more product right off the bat.  It's what they did with WoW and I don't see any reason to change their busyness model.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

    Aragoni,

That's pretty harsh don't you think? There are more constructive ways of replying than trolling the guy.

    But to the OP:

No one really knows yet. I don't think it'll be very taxing to the systems as it isnt Graphic-crazy heavy but done rather nicely.

Blizz likes it for everyone to play their games. Like wow low requirements. Im gonna guess that D3 will be low too.

Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day.
And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms

System Reqs look like they will be low from the trailers.  They don't appear to be doing anything computer bending.  It looks to use Shader 3.0, and can run on a machine with a 2.4ghz single core processer with 1024 GB ram.

    I place my chips on.

    512 MB RAM

    126 MB VRam

    and

    2 GHz Processor.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
