The Koreans who design the armor in these things really need to branch out. I've been seeing essentially the same armor in umpteen F2Ps now and it's getting old lol.
All the new F2Ps (or most of them) seem to be gunning for giving F2Pers as WoW-like an experience as possible. If any of them can manage to truly replicate the quality WoW experience with an original IP, they stand to make a whole lot of money. They all fall short in one way or another so far. Biggest hurdle? Koreanness. They have to learn to westernize their games to the same degree WoW is westernized.

Why would they want to replicate WoW? This game has absolutely nothing to do with WoW. If anything, they are trying to cash in on the Maplestory fans. I'm not saying this game is a blatant copy of Maplestory, because Maplestory is not the first 2D side-scroller ever, but this game does seem to have its share of similarities.
What I DO know about this game:
-there is much less of a grind than Maplestory.
-action is fast-paced with a combo counter. The spawn rate is very fast, making for some very intense gameplay.
-pvp. And not like that awful Ghost Online pvp attempt.
Another critique then. The game, visually, looks far too much like Maple Story for my tastes. If you intend to overshadow a game, it's probably not a bad idea to not look so much like it that people will confuse the two. I would have rather seen a more realistic shape to the characters, aside from the super deformed thing that so many other F2P games seem to be in love with.
Admittedly, the game looks interesting. It seems to be, basically, Maple Story with combos (the lack of which was easily among my biggest problems with Maple Story's gameplay.) Still though, I am very concerned with the quality of player that this game will be subjecting itself to. It's going to be a Free To Play game with an Item Shop, if I'm not mistaken, and as such it could easily aquire just as rancid a community as Maple Story has. A multitude of players who are childish jerks can easily scare off others.
