Hey.
Just wanted to show how Funcom avoid critics on their forums regarding Age of Conan.
Funcom is a company noted at the stock market.
Due to many unbroken promises, bugs they gets huge critics at their forums.
I was one of their players that was critical to their marketing and game issues.
When a moderator of forum posted a late thread regarding new patch and I suggested moderator to be a bit earler with thread if she wanted people to follow thread (I was referring to another player here), she simply kicked me from forum after I posted a note regarding her handling of critical players.
Congratulation Funcom. You managed to silence one of the critical gamers of Your game.
Not only did You bann me from forum, but You broke my game as I cannot follow patches released.
Please visit the Age of Conan forums EU and US for Yourself and check the condition before buying this game.
Their commercials are way outside reallity.

Are you sure there is no other way for you to get the patch information?
And frankly, if this happened to me, I'd be closer to the "Cancel" button than to anything else.
Companies with such shoddy treatment of their customers don't deserve your money.
Sorry you did NOT show us anything other then your words, link please or copy/paste from the orignal post else it's just another complaint with NO facts to back it up. Just like most complainers do on forums like this.
I mean i keep seeing indiviauls who make up stuff like saying 50% already left of none is playing the game. Funny thing is that even tho i play very limited each time i logf into the game i see more people in the game than those few poeple who complain about it.
But then again FORUMS have NEVER EVER been a indicator of a games population. WOW is proof for this else their forums would have had millions of reg. users and thing is they havn't, thought they only had like 50/60k reg. forum users, which again proofs only a very small portion of gamers uses forums or offical forums, and like with most games in this genre those who have guilds/clans or whatever often have their own fanwebsite/forums.
Forums only show a very tiny pop. of gamers into these games, and it amazes me how many people actualy think its a indicator of a games pop. LOL
Of the game's popularity, no. Of the climate surrounding it, yes.
While there will always be critics for even the most popular games, and while forum populations tend to be the most vocal subset of the game's players, some of their concerns are legitimate.
Furthermore -- as is apparently the case here, with all those reports of frivolous bans -- treatment of the forum population by the company is a fairly reliable indicator of what it thinks of its players.
What we can see on the Age of Conan forums: No developer interaction with the gaming population (except as Announcements from High Above, if even that), inconsistent, harsh, vague and unaccountable forum moderation (where criticism of the company or worse still, moderation itself, is apparently a worse offense than being rude towards other players), lack of acknowledgement of even the most trivial problems (it took a month to have a link to the Mannanan server subforum despite numerous requests!), and apparently a double standard when it comes to European vs. North American players (no official RP-PvE server for North America despite an ongoing forum petition).
I think it's a mighty good indicator that it's not exactly the most player-friendly company out there.
