I figure I can call them up and have them mail directly if all else fails.

    Thanks in advance

Kansas City has em everywhere...BestBuy, Wal Mart, Target, etc. You could always make a 7 hour trip up here.

Austin has a lot of em too. I was there on a business trip last week. Thats closer to where you live.

But, like i said already, just buy it online and download it, that simple.
Edit: To clarify, if you can order online from these places then you have a credit card, i bought my off the conan website, no need to get excited.

Actually guy We tired to buy it online from Gogamer, and Amazon...I didn't realize you could get it as a digital download  thanks for that.

Actually  our local shops already went through their second run..guess it depends on what part of the country your in.

Not looking hard enough. Gogamer and Amazon both has plenty of copies.

But what I found very funny is, why so many people related to Warhammer fanbase always express something  pessimistic and negative  about Age of Conan, not about the real issues of performance or content, but about how Age of Conan will go down and down.
I mean, there are 3 upcoming big releases , Warhammer, the unique The Chronicles of Spellborn and the unique and impressive Aion.
Why only the Warhammer crowd is on a not exacly declared war against Age of Conan?
Both are totally different games with totally different lores, if you wont play both, why care?
Age of Conan has a lot of haters and disapointed people, but the Warhammer crowd attitude is very, very caracteristic...
But I wonder why, why this happens only with War fans from the 3 upcoming MMOs?

Its not War fans its the people, the same ones will bash War as soon as its released -> they will try it -> it wont be what they expected -> bash bash bash.

Can't help you OP cause i aint US but like a few posters said try the digital from the official site.

I must say that allot of  reply's in this topic are really amusing, i mean you ask WHERE people might still see copy's, and allot of reply's only said "AT MY LOCAL STORE" .......i mean as if people know where these folks life?

Anyway good luck findinga copy, and hope your B.I.L will have fun with AoC once he finds it.

Yes, there is no shortage of AOC copies in the Detroit area. This game was marketed as a gritty, blood, gore, decapitations, and boobies open PvP world. Unfortunately, in the Detroit area, this is so "been there, done that", nobody is interested in a game world like this.

Too funny I point out that some of the accounts that monitor this forum 24/7 for positive post so they can bash the game are more than likely compensated marketers, and now I am the mastermind of a viral marketing push. That my friends is known as lame ass misdirection.

If Funcom wanted to do that they would not come to Blizzard shill central, I simply did not know you could download a digital copy, my Brother in law got his copy last night and everyone is happy.  Don't worry I'm sure there are plenty more threads you can look like an idiot in.

A little birdie?  Hearing voices?  It's ok; no, some places don't have copies if you do your math... oh wait, I'll do that for you, 1 mil copies shipped - 700k+  sold, doesn't give a whole lot to sit in shelves. If you see them, good for you but it doesn't help the OP.

I don't like your quote, I think the term 'fanboi' is pretty general and if you support the game good for you.  Personally I think the Emo's ruin games, they go on forum crying about this and that.  If you have an idea, don't cry no one will listen, just write it down your ideas for improvements or move on.

Personally I'd rather be a fanboi then an Emo kid enigma

well if it isnt viral marketing what are you calling it? I looked over at Amazon and gogamer within the same h our you first posted about them being sold out. Not only are they NOT sold out they have CE left.

Also, in your home town check out the bestbuys. I was informed they have plenty.

If it smells like a viral marketer and talks like a viral marketer and walks like one; it is one .

    Have fun with it!

Truth hurts doesn't it? Especially when you see it right there

Ohh blizzard hater is back and this time with some more friends. Well i checked both the sites you mentioned and guess what you are a damn lier. AOC is easily available. So nice try to advertise your favorite mmo but you failed miserably. Maybe you should stick to your AOC VS WOW discussion in future.

  • EnigmaEnigma Member UncommonPosts: 11,384

thats why im convinced the op is a viral marketer.  Both websites he mentions both states they have plenty of copies left; including the CE (I checked within the same hour he posted).

If people love the game then that it awesome; just dont lie about it. It actually does more harm than good when trying to promote something.

I just got back from taking the wife to Target and the grocery store. Target had 8 regular copies on the shelf, and while the wife was in the grocery store I popped into the Best Buy  next door and they had a bunch on a stand alone display and several copies of CE on their regular shelf. Seems the word has gotten out and sales are dropping off pretty rapidly. The guy at Best buy said they are taking down the stand alone display tonight and will just keep a couple of regular and CE's on the shelf.

    I miss DAoC

  • ThriftThrift Member Posts: 1,783

I find this very hard to believe, every game store that I go to there are at least 2 copies of CE on the shelf and over 20 copies of the gaming to.

  • Protus-AOCProtus-AOC Member Posts: 81

I find it hard to believe that you can find them anywhere. I dont have alot of friends but the 2 that I do have bought several copies so I know they are selling fast and thats why they are dropping in the sales charts since there are none to sell.

Every game store that I have went into within a 50 mile radius of Phila, has tons of copies.
