It was a hard choice between an RP server or Core, but eventually we decided that Core would just be a better fit. Sometimes I just don't want to think hard enough to keep up a persona... Plus I have tons of pen and paper RPGs around the house I can putz with, so no real reason to fake it in game.
Could someone please explain the different servers to me? I can't seem to find the official information. Thanks.
Well first off Open RVR might not make launch but sounds like it will make it in the game later.
You have RP which follows RP rules of naming and staying in character ect you get the point.
Core is the normal rule set, pve zones you must be flaged to fight, in RVR zones you are always flaged. When someone is a tier above and comes in a RVR zone they become a chicken.
Open PVP would be you are always flaged, i dont know how the chicken rule would apply i would assume you would be a chicken in the whole tier then.

I prefer what the games actually going to be: RvR and PvE zones.
