The reason it is so large is simple, it has been badly compressed or not at all.
The game most certainly doesnt have the amount content compared to other MMOs to say that is the reason for the size.
And the 360's compression software allows for developers to fit the game onto a disk quite simply, also MMO's generally speaking will install on the 360 for a few gigs of space. Dont forget PC patches which are 100+ megs take the 360 a few seconds to download, therefore must be extremely small.
The Blue Ray is significantly slower than a DVD meaning games like Oblivion had to have the content layered twice on the disk so that it could stream effeciently. So no portable disk format is "perfect" yet to fit an MMO onto for a console.
