I made a wise decision, I think, to leave the Republican party.
Did you see the one where:
Veteran: You opposed bills that supported veterans.
McCain: I have the highest ranking of every veteran organization.
Veteran: No. You don't.
McCain: I do not know what your interpretation of the bills are, but I always support....
Veteran: I can read the numbers of those bills right now. (starts to read them).
McCain: Thank you. [You people need to be afraid. If you are not afraid, or do not see me as this sort-of idealistic patriot hero type of figure, you might THINK and actually review my voting record. If you do that, you will probably get pissed off and realize I never support YOU. So do not do that, just be afraid enough to shop but vote for me.]
Quite the people's candidate, eh? I've always been a Democrat, but this entire election has completely split apart the way I view both political parties. Then again, I never would have thought that a Democrat, in my lifetime, would opt out of public financing in order to receive all of that yummy PAC/Lobby/IG money from varying interests - that seems more like a Republican tactic to me, but things have changed. Obama can spew all of this nonsense during the primary-season about withdrawing from Iraq within 100 days, but now all of a sudden he's backing off of that assurance he used to beat Clinton, Edwards, et al. What a douchebag.
It doesn't really matter what party is elected into power this year - Americans are going to get the shaft no matter what. Once you think about it, there really are no differences between Democrats and Republicans - they're all crooked.
A good example I like to use is the whole illegal immigration debate. The reason why no real legislation has been passed on the issue is that both parties stand to profit from illegal immigration. Republicans can give their corporate backers assurances that they won't be prosecuted for handling illegals, and Democrats can get an entire voting bloc (Latinos generally vote for the Democrat). You won't see any progress on this issue anytime soon.
She should thank Code Pink, or the people who squirt fake blood on those at Easter mass, or those throwing pies at speakers, etc....for her brutal ejection.
For a party of free speech, they sure hate to hear opposing free speech.
Meh, Huffington Post is very liberal and one sided. Its like quoting Fox News. It wouldn't surprise me if this was all just acted out. Also its a town hall meeting not a rally. Do you know how many times McCain gets heckled at town hall meetings by anti-war protesters?
you have to read the whole story. She was trespassing; she was never invited to the function. Anyone with an agenda can read into anything. But, yes, that jacket was pretty messed up
It was a public event at a venue that was partially paid for with taxes. She wasn't trespassing.

I would have kicked her out just for that jacket she was wearing. That thing was butt ugly.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
