Looking for a MMO like UO

        I'm looking to start playing a new MMO being that WoW has gone down the drain. I remember playing UO back a couple of years ago and to be honest, it is surely the best MMO I've ever played. I loved the freedom they gave you in the game along with the big risks and fortune you could come across through dying. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to another MMO that is either out or is being working on that most closely resembles UO.

        Also it would be nice if someone who still plays UO or has played recently can tell me about its state as of now because I'm thinking about renewing my account. I've heard that it isn't as good as it used to be, but I wouldn't see why not.
