To RAID or not...

I going to build a new Gaming Rig soon and am trying to decide whether to go with a 150Gb Raptor for the OS (probably Vista Home Premium) and a 500Gb Caviar for data or to go with a RAID 0 with 2x500Gb Caviar. I'm not bothered about redundency just thinking about speed.
Which would be the best way to go?
