Hiya,
My partner and I were playing DDO for several months leading up to the release of AOC, but then decided to give that a shot. Two months are almost by, so we are thinking about cancelling AOC and resubbing DDO.
We loved DDO but barely found the population satisfactory; the reason being that we are New Zealanders, and so are on quite late.
Has the population been dented by AOC release (we left for instance...)? How is the population now compared to 3 months ago? Do you think (obviously a guess) that the population is going to be hit by WAR's release?
I don't need high populations to validate my own opinion of a game, but with a grouping orientated game like DDO it is important. When we were playing a couple of months back, if it was late at night, we did sometimes struggle to get a group.
Any answers/ideas/opinions would be appreciated!
Thank you
Bobo

I tend to be awake at night (sleep schedule's all screwy), and it seems about the same. You can find groups, but it's certainly more difficult, especially if you're looking at tougher quests. Most people who stay up all late and stuff are too dizzy from lack of sleep to pay attention to anything, so they usually go on smaller quests.
If you find a guild with some players who are either in your time zone or nocturnal, it can help a lot.
