Just got zboard - question

Heya. Just got my zboard in the mail, along with EQ/expansions. My question to the other winners is: Did you guys get an EQ keyset? I got a Doom 3 keyset, but no EQ one. Personally, I don't care, since I wasn't planning on playing EQ myself. Not to mention that I was playing Doom 3 as the package got here...but yea, was just curious as to whether or not it was like that for everyone.

    Idon't have one...

    One question though: How well can one type with the FPS-keyset. In DAoC, I need to type _a lot_, so I doubt whether a special FPS-keyset would be very useful for me there, considering how the "normal" keys are set to the right and splitted up with that keyset.

    Heh, having problems getting the keysets working. But just from the looks of the FPS keyset, its not focused on typing...the EQ one though looks like a normal old keyboard in layout. (Looking at picture, dont have one) But personally, I'm not a fan of the standard keyset made for every day use. I'm actually planning on using my old keyboard for chat and so forth, and just using the zboard for specific games.

    Glad I am not the only one.  I got a Doom 3 as well.  I already talked to Admin and he sent my info to the shippers.  Might want to email him and let him know (support@mmorpg.com)

    Ah, I honestly prefer the Doom 3 one over EQ. So I'm not going to bother with that. But the fact that I can't get this software to recognize my keysets is preventing me from trying it. Icon is always yellow. Checked my BIOS settings and such, switched USB ports, restarted, etc. Got a ticket in with their support, hopefully I can get this working soon...;)

    Here is some tips from their site:

    Please make sure your ZBoard™ is connected to your system before installing the drivers.
    Reboot your system with your ZBoard™ connected.
    Please make sure your PC meets our system requirements.
    Please check the USB connector for any defects in the pins
    Refresh your ZBoard™.
    Uninstall the drivers to see if you can type with your ZBoard™ without the drivers installed.

    If you've still got problems, try downloading  the newest driver:

    http://www.zboard.com/downloads/downloads_main.htm

     

    edit:  Also make sure you have the newest USB drivers.
