OK CoS has a release date of 3q and Warhammer 4q, but it's not really looking good for ANY games in beta for 2008, whats up with that !!!!........ Maybe all of them were thinking of releasing crap like AoC and now re-thinking.
Something is telling me that were not getting anything this year. Lets face the facts, I like most of you will play the first well made game that comes along, but I guess not this year.
As it stands I'm playing EQ2 ( free for june and july) but I really don't like it much, so It's back to D&D Online, WoW or trying Vanguard.
What is everyone else doing ?

2009?
Fable 2, Fallout 3, Starcraft II, Diablo 3. For me these coming years are going to be about the 2s and 3s I guess I won't get back into playing MMOs until something unique comes out. Star Trek Online if Cryptic does it right.
Last I heard Star Trek Online was canceled a few months ago.
As far as Spellborn, it died like 2 years ago. The devs just haven't realized it yet. WoW continues to dominate, and while I think WAR stands the best chance out of any we've seen so far, I think they too will fail to make any significant impact on the MMO market. All that's left is to wait for WoW's second expansion (or play EVE, if you're into that) and continue waiting.
I also think that the upcoming MMO's are going to fail in some way or another. I'm hoping WAR won't, but I have this gut-feeling. Although, I started playing Atlantica 3 days ago, and I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying it so far.
Anyway, SC2 and D3 are indeed the games I'm looking forward to the most. I guess 2008/2009 will be the year(s) of SP games .

Rumor is that Cryptic picked up Star Trek Online after Perpetual went under. Cryptic is making some kind of big announcement in 9 days - the teaser image on their site looks like it's quite possibly STO. http://crypticstudios.com/
It's not dead at all. In fact they just added a bunch of fileplanet beta testers. For some reason, they have a better website in Korea, here http://www.spellborn.co.kr/main/main.php
I just wish they would update their US website, so it wouldn't look so lame. The game looks very promising to me.

Fallen Earth looks like it has potential. Quite different than the rest too.

Fallen Earth does look like alot of fun. Been watching that one for a loooooong time.
I'm currently playing VG and having alot of fun with it. I just quit AoC and WoW...one I'm disappointed with and the other I'm bored with.
May reactivate account for LoTRO in anticipation for the Mines of Moria. The PvP isn't my style but it's there. PvE is excellent in my opinion.
I had hopes for CoS being good but not sure. Will wait to see what reasonable people say about it.
Well looks like you are way off OP. You can bet your life on WAR releasing at the end of September. Unless you've been in a cave recently you would know that it is right on schedule and now it is confirmed. As far as TCoS, well this game isn't exactly a big hitter. It will release sometime in 2009 more than likely because they don't have one fourth the financial backing or man power as WAR. But I thought I had to take it upon myself to say that it looks like your OP that had no objective proof or backing one way or another was nothing but a worthless assumption. Not looking good?! Dang it's not even that WAR is going ot be in Nov or Dec, hell it is releasing Sept 30th. Give me a break, I'm so sick of subjective crap like this.
Look at the date of the OP 7/18/08. Warhammer just announced release a few days ago, and still not 100%. However with AoC being a disaster I guess War should take advantage of being the only new MMO in its time frame ( but with less starting classes ).
I'll be willing to bet that it WAS shooting for 2009, but EA's marketing managers caused a rally and that's why War will have less classes, and less cities.
I hope. Like I say I'll play the first well made game, however I'm not too crazy about Aion.
AOC a disaster? Are you talking about how you, personally, don't like it or how the game fairs relative to the whole MMO industry? If its the latter, where is the evidence to suggest this?
Top 10 Most Misused Words in MMO's
EA has changed focus from WAR to Kotor MMO. And public will blur the focus once Aion, War and the wow expasion are released.
Aion => best graphics
War => best RvR
WoW => best fast food MMO experience
AoC => best.. heee... something, not.. has to have something !... heee.. no..
