WAR Lore resource?

So, I have to admit, the last couple of years I have been sort of brain washed by WoW and blizzard and have neglected other lores such as LOTR and Warhammer.  I would like to refresh my mind on the Warhammer lore, and would like to know what is the best resource to do so. 

Im thinking about getting the Warhammer Fantasy Tabletop Rule Book. Think its a good idea? any other suggestions?

Scattered through out that site are tidbits of Warhammer lore. It will at least give you a feel for the different armies/races that exist in the lore.
