Seems Funcom just doesn't care anymore to let things like this slip by.
I could have swore on a bible I bought a game called Age Of Conan. Heck I already had a copy of Anarchy Online I could have installed.

i have not logged into wow for 3 months but havent bothered canceling my account because i will go back when level 80 comes out
AoC is the worst mmorpg i have ever played the marketing is just lie apon lie pay to beta test no thanks canceled my account along with most of the people who i started the game with
AoC somehow gets worse every patch from release insted of better how is that even possible

well considering i have not played ao i could not see what i was suppose to see . however i did'nt get pass the free month anyhow with aoc
Notice what the little tooltips say? Those are what the resists are known as in AO.

I agree - if AO got the AOC level of graphics with a Matrix-y feel - it would be reborn as an ultimate and unique MMO experience. (Some combat update would be required as well - too stiff atm.)
I agree, a little proof would be nice. That's not even complicated to photoshop. If that happens when you mouse over, everyone that owns the game should be able to replicate.
LOL Nanos in AoC....... Yeah like dude said it could have been made using photoshop. But AO will become a back up MMO once the new engine comes out , loved that game.
Gaming companies should stop making sequels and just make enhanced updates for their already flourishing games. If AO would update to fully directx 9 or 10 client I would resub. I loved making implants and running around to get buffs to put on that new set of armor.

Go in the game and see for your self. Mouse over those stats and you will see the same exact thing that is in those pics.
I'm not a hater, The game is minimized as I post this. Just posting what I see as a glaring mistake on Funcoms part. Believe it or don't believe it. Anyone who can log in can see exactly this same thing.
Well your in luck, the new engine is supposed to come out sometime this year. Well that was last I heard but that was a few months ago.
When AoC launced you would see alot of dismay in general chat. No I don't mean a bad launch or the other launch type issues.
Just some things don't really make sense unless you did play AO.
People would ask about weapon stats... as they don't really make sense. Yet if you played AO they used the same exact system.
You know where it is supposed to show the dps rating of your weapon.. but it really doesn't make sense.
Like a very slow weapon might say: 1.3s
Where a very fast weapon will say: 1.8s
(because they aren't showing you weapon speed but its some dmg rating in regards to seconds that isn't really explained). I haven't played AO in a long time so I could relate.
The sad part to me I guess is that AO has really come around as a game. If they stripped much out of it to make AoC it should have launched in a better condition than it did. And if they had to do it because they had to launch by X date.. WTF were they doing for the last 5 years?
If the update patch ever sees the light of day that is. Recently the AO boards have been void of all things GM. Everyone seems to have been pulled over to fix the AoC debacle, but we will just have to wait and see.

Very sloppy; although I am not surprised that a company that has spent years on one game uses many of those features for the next game.
Its often a question whether you want to update something pre-existing or start from scratch. Both have their pros and cons.
But to allow this to get into the game really bespeaks of insufficient thoroughness.
I suspect that fundamentally the problem is a lack of quality control checks, insufficient staff, and poor management systems.

This proves to me they had no idea what they wanted to do with PvP. The system they described before launch was nothing like AO. Then after launch they scrapped the whole thing and are now falling back on this crap?
He showed the screenshot, but more proof is needed because it could have been Photoshopped? What else would you propose as more proof - another screenshot, which could also be Photoshopped.
Log into the game. This isn't one of those one time things that happens in a game. If you go into the game, as I did, and mouseover those lines, those are the AO tooltips you'll see right now.
It's sloppy as hell, and I believe provides an indication as to why the game was so screwed up at launch, and why they break as much as they fix with each patch.

These days one person posting a few screenshots usually doesn't hold much water. But it appears that others can confirm it in game. That's al. Ghist was wondering. So it's all good.
From the POV of the consumer it's not tho. That is some sloppy shit right there, and is indicitive of the entire game.
