Immortal for Life?

I started downloading the client to try this game out again. I went to my account status page and it says I am a Immortal for Life. How did I get this? Was it because I bought the game when it first came out? Do I get anything extra if I start paying for a subscription? The only thing it says on the monthly subscription page is you get to become a Fury Immortal so I'm assumeing I'd just be wasteing money cause I have for life status.

I look forward to learning the game again.

You do know the game is on auto-pilot waiting for the server payment to dry up so the servers will be disconnected, right? Or that "Bossman" (and anyone else in charge ) has not communicated with the pplayers in almost 2 months? That people have to go spam the Trainz forums to get any attention, since that's where all the devs are at? Or that when asked about the big money challenge regarding prizes they never recieved, Bossman admitted it was a farce?

I'd suggest reading through their forums http://forums.auran.com/fury/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=5. You'll find yourself uninstalling very shortly.

Ya, I was looking at their fourms some today and I started to gather the devs have abandoned it. I started getting boored after a few hours today cause there is nothing to work tward (no new skills to buy, allready have more money then you ever need).

It's a shame because the game really looked great on my iZ3D monitor.
