new upcoming player with few minor questions

ok just a few simple questions

1. I havent really seen ppl talk about the monk class all too much i was wondering what can ya tell me about the class (List its features). ive played class like the palidin warrior rogue mage and shaman class out WoW. Also if monk is hard to play as a new player what would u recommend.

2. when can i get a flying mount and is it easy to get.

3. how does the housing system work and as well the diplomacy system.

1.  Here is the link to the monk fansite.  They can answer your questions better than I.  I have a lowbie monk and he is pretty fun.  AT high levels monks are pullers and skilled monk can distinguishhimself from a poor player quite easily.

2. The quest for the griffon starts at 45 but realistcially you have to be 50.  Only the most skilled groups will get a  griffon.  Although they have made the quest much easier now since I did it.  Wyverns is a raid quest which involves killing both dragons.  As there are only 3 guilds left in game that have killed Kotasoth you are better off doing the griffon as pugs have gotten thru that,  A Pegasus slower mount is going in GU6.

3.  You buy a plot and have crafters make the parts for your house.  Diplomacy see here.
