Well I recently looked at getting a new computer since in order to upgrade this one I would need a major overhaul of the whole thing.  I looked at iBUYPOWER.com and liked what I saw, I scanned the internet for how they are and the recent opinions have been pretty good.  Www.resellerratings.com has a pretty good rating for them and apparently the customer service is excellent.  I was wondering if any of you have purchased from them before and what your opinions are about them.

Also don't be a troll and flame, honest opinions only, backed up with a reason also, thanks.

Honestly, build your own.

 

I just set up a computer using virtually the same exact parts on ibuypower.com and it came out to $1988, that's nearly 400 more than I payed for mine, and they only let you put 4gigs of ram in it, and I have 8, of pc2 8500.

And I just built this rig a week ago.

out of any PC reseller they offer the best parts for the money.  However,  I have also read up alot on this company.  They are really horrible when it comes to customer service.  Thier staff is extremely rude, and thier PR uses underhanded tactics to make themselves seem better.  Such as only repairing the PCs of people who complain to the BBB or other rating sites.

With IBuyPower there is a descent chance you will get a machine that was broken by them.  They will refuse to fix it saying it was your fault.  To get thier support to do anything you have to jump through hoops and over hurdles.

Almost everyone is just gonna tell you to build your own here. And while that is cheaper if you don't want to then if you feel like you could buy from them do it. Cleffy made som egood points on them.

I bought mines from IBUYPOWER! I got the SideWinder case with the super liquid cooling fan (3 fans total), 600 watts power, and a couple useless things I didn't need.

Honestly, I thought they have good deals. I mean, they build it for ya and mail it to you. Unfortunely, mine came 8 weeks after I ordered it online even though I got the 5~10 business days delivery deal. But everything was intacted and perfectly installed. They even install all the software and windows I've ordered. I've had it for a year now without problems.

Another good site to try is http://www.buydirectpc.com

This site, last I checked, was slightly cheaper than IBUYPOWER...but their cases aren't as flashy.
