Why didn't Tasos show up with the game client?
Tasos showed up to that Greek game developers conference with a recorded video that was 1 year old and another fly by video showing some buildings that was a few months old.
Why didn't he just show up with the game client and a PC and login to the game world from there??

Same reason he "forgot" it the one and only time he went to E3, perhaps?
He could if Darkfall actually existed outside of some developers fairytale dream world.
Unfortunately it does not... so he couldn't....
OH! OH! OH! i can answer that question!!!! its because he doesn't have one...
He already got a standing ovation for his presentation as it was. No doubt playing the actual game would have caused a serious uproar. Tasos did not want to have the local riot police called in, so he decided not to demo the actual game. He is wise.
What game client?
They have a game world they've probably completed but no telling how big is actually is.
And they have some videos they've programmed bots to do exactly what they want to show inside their virtual world. (It's very easy to see that no players are actually playing, even in the videos where they want us to think so)
Why would Tasos bring a broken/unfinished/very buggy or non-existent game client with him?

Are you folks all that gullable or niave? Ther eis no Darkfall I don't care how many videos he shows next month. This game is not happening.

Almost everybody (apparently not everybody though) knows it's easier to prove it's a few bots then it is to prove the vid was taken on a live server ;-)
So the better question is: can you provide proof they aren't a few bots? I can do everything they've shown in Torque too... that doesn't make my game a MMO.

Now show the page where it says "We are the proud publisher for Darkfall" or something similar. All I see is movies.

I don't read Greek, and I don't see Darkfall anywhere on the page. I DO see some DVDs though... there's Scooby Doo...
How about a real Publisher's link? I can get one for VG on SOEs page. I can get 1 for Warhammer or HGL on EA's page. Here's an example:

Well the publisher has to know that they are publishing the game in order for them to do that. I bet they have no idea.
Who's got that letter that the publisher supposedly sent out to it's stockholders? Anyone?
EDIT: Found this on Darkfall's official forums.
The two threads about Gameworld.gr piqued my curiousity, which led me to Google.gr news search. I found some articles concerning a company called AudioVisual Enterprises SA(or Business and Sound Eikonos SA, according to Google translate) and a new deal they have struck with Aventurine SA. From what I gather AudioVisual will handle the job of printing, distributing, customer subscriptions and providing customer service(?) for Darkfall for all of Europe. They are setting up a gaming division and in return it appears that Aventurine will receive 35% in royalties(?).
Additionally, this company also appears to have recently recieved a 25 million dollar loan as well.
I do not understand Greek and Google translate isn't all that great, so I have interpreted the results as best I can. Here are the articles I found if anyone can properly translate them into readable English:

They don't appear to have any experience with online games.
<Mod edit> Its a very old and well established European company that is making a video game branch specifically to distribute Darkfall in Europe. I don't have the link to the actual statement at the moment, but I'm sure YOU could dig around and find it, and then somehow tell me it doesn't exist.

I think that this would be their best support that AudioVisual is publishing this game, but I cannot read greek either. It does look like news that AudioVisual (the VHS website he posted a link to) has something to do with Adventurine and this game.

I don't want a link to the "statement", I want a link to the Publisher's Website section for Darkfall. All publisher's have their own page for the game they're publishing... even if it's just to order direct.
That's it, just a simple link. Copy and Paste it for me so I can see it. :-)
I gave examples above of what I was looking for roughly... I can give more if there's still confusion.

Congratulations, you can point out the publishers of games that are owned by multibillion dollar publishing companies that shove their noses into every game, and usually screw them up. We all know what SOE helped do to the Vanguard launch, and only the skeleton crew of Sigil employees that was left saved the game.
If you hadn't noticed, Darkfall is NOT like other MMOs, that's half the problem. Independent, self funding company, in Greece, (with HORRIBLE PR), that is probably going to handle "publishing" on their own, and let Audio Visual "distribute". AV's name wouldn't be absolutely everywhere, especially since it hasn't been formally announced yet, its just something Darkfall fans found, and AV and Tasos confirmed. There is a statement to stockholders floating around thats been in a few threads already, but I don't know where.

it snot set up this hasnt even been officially annunced yet.
They can press discs just as well as any other publisher. As far as I know, AudioVisual isn't as closely involved in anything else than pressing and distributing the discs.
