Downloaded the free trial, installed, all pumped to play and BAM dead server. They brought it down I guess....well time to uninstall and go back to War beta.

My original reply was too harsh. Sorry about that. However, uninstalling a trial due to server issues in a game that rarely has them (LoTRO) is extreme IMO. Truthfully, give the game a chance rather than letting your impatience get in the way.
Good riddance. It's apparent that you don't have enough patience to see that the servers are being fixed. Thus your lack of contribution to the LoTRO community will not be missed at all.

I see your logo is U.S. Navy - retired USN myself. Give the game a chance - consider this like an unexpected engineroom casualty and you're up on the diesel snorkeling, rigged for reduced electrial power.
It sucks for a short while, but you know things will return to steady state soon enough.
That's strange one of the first things I learned playing MMOs was patience
but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....
Give it a chance... It will be worth the few hour wait you might endure. Hopefully you decide to come back again.

The servers are iffy but it ain't no big thing. Time to read a book, watch a movie, surf the web, or swim in money.

It's just the latest update, Turbine will have it fixed soon enough. Have patience, play WAR tonight, play LOTRO tomorrow.
