My first ever game was Defender on the Atari. Then i just got hooked and have played ever since. Bought many games for all my computers. Oh, I also studies Computer Science so I could play network games back in 1990. Damn what a loser I am

My problem nowadays is to get time to play as I have to be that responsible father so that my daughter does not become a loser like me
My first and favorite fighting game series is mortal kombat. I was only 5 at the time it was released, but i was hooked. I loved that game, loved the characters, and love the fact that you could be a ninja. lol.......noob sabot was the best. However i have moved on since then because i hate 3d fighters. They just don't work for me. Now i play guilty gear x-2.
Pokemon( Sadly, lol ) got me started in the RPG genre. Even thought its not compareble to some of your stuff. Also remember sitting in front of the sega for hours playing sonic ( At the age of 5 ) cause I couldn't save.
There are I would have to say 3 games that have changed my views of gaming , first off is Warcraft : Orcs and Humans, was the most awesome game I had ever seen on a pc , next would be Quake 1 , not those other 2 mokeries of the series, I mean the original Quake 1 with CTF and death match over gamespy and last but not least, the very first MMORPG I ever played, The Realm by Sierra , since I am a fan of D & D , this game burried the hook into me and I've been playing MMORPG's continously ever since.

Asheron's Call is what got me addicted to the genre. In regards to the old school games. Many by a compnay called Koei stole many hours of my time growing up.
UO, is the game that changed my life. Had it not been for UO I never would have gotten into the MMORPG genre. But I currently think CoH is the bomb. Until EQII comes out that is.

Street fighter ( thats right the first one)-Amazing arcade game that sucked countless time and tewnties out my dads wallet.
Baseball stars -First console game that could take my high strung Butt and plant it firmly in place for hours on end.
Uo- My MMO cherry popper. Played it at a buddies house and was hooked. Went out that night and not only bought the game but bought a computer too LOL.
