How to enter a battleground.

Easiest way is to just go to your main city and talk to a porter that ports you all over the realms. One of the options will be Battlegrounds and all you do is click on it and it will send you to the level appropriate one for you.
The porters in the housing area do it too I think, but the one in the main city does it for sure.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
They are called "Channeler <name>" and have a blue circle around their feet.
