in Perfect World International

hey all,

       I just wanted to confirm......right now this game is in open beta and closed beta starts on aug 19th? And if this is correct do we have a character wipe at that point? One final question, If no character wipe at that point they will do it when beta ends i am assuming?

    with OB you are talking about English Perfect World Malaysia... Btw it is already out of OB and in the Final version there. This CB is about Perfect World USA. And i sure there will be a Char whipe after the CB. When i remember well the CB starts August 15.

    PW MY-Eng had CB last September/October (wipe after), OB followed November(ish) when they opened the cash shop and the servers were effectivly 'live'. The server is now out of OB (of course no wipes),

    people who are currently playing it are either playing the MY version or one of the p-servers (apart from the very few who use proxies and unofficial language patches to play servers located in other zones such as china, phillipines or japan)

     

    PW-Intl (US based) will enter CB on the 19th Aug, and if all goes according to plan will enter OB at the end of September

    all characters will be wiped at the end of CB, OB characters are 99.99% certain to not get wiped

    and i guess in PW NA the cubi gold prices will reach a new dimension... like maybe 100 bucks for 100cubigold?? compared to the 15bucks for 100cubigold on the Malaysian version its a big difference... So i guess Zhen parties will be only for the rich guys

     

    but i*m just guessing so this might turn out wrong... and i really hope so....

       Thank you for all the replies. I understand now. Right noe i am playing the english-my version. But when august rolls around i will go to the perfect world international.

    Seems logical to wipe. It is a Closed Beta, and as such... Every CB I've ever played or heard of does a wipe right after. Sometimes, those that pointed out say, the most bugs or problems or helped do what a beta tester is supposed to do... They get rewarded when they make their first char on OB. Usually a weapon or item or something. Sometimes by the player's choice of what they want, sometimes just a weapon you'll eventually one day be able to use in a few weeks lol. But most of the time, it is just wipe and restart.

    I will still play this CB tho, as I wan't to see if anything has been changed or improved. Heck, I'll stay even if I get no gift out of it. Because PW-MY, well both servers are owned by one guild. (One on each, not connected to one-another far as I know.) And both are notorious PK guilds that have nothing better to do, other than murdering innocents and collecting obscene amounts of currency for being the jerks they are. *sorry, rant over.*
