Is there still any Free trail on ac1?

 im currently playing ac2 and most of the topics says that ac1 is better so i wanna try it. anyone got a link for the trail cuz i cant find it

Sorry Bro.....They done away with free trials along time ago. The only way to get AC1 now is buy it from fileplanet or turbines store.....or happen to pick up an acct from someone quitting.

It's worth paying one month, there are a ton of veteren players more than happy to lend a hand for people just beginning and in the near future there are some exciting changes headed. Check out turbine's website for information pertaining to land battles and such. Looks great!

Agreed. I've been playing ac2 for a few months now and i'm trying to force myself back on (and its working..).  But i've always heard that ac1 was better than ac2, what are the better things about ac1 than in ac2? if it sounds good, i might buy it

AC has everything AC2 has. Except the graphics in AC2 are far better.

AC also has *gasp* 5 times more players than the brand spanking new, ultra modern, AC2. Why does roughly 50,000 players play AC and roughly 6,000 players play AC2?

AC also has far, far, far, far, far, far, more content. Player castles, for example, and tons more content. Just about as much content as EQ.

AC1 is also unique in the way skills are. There are no trees & classes that stick you into a rigidly defined area (AC2 is by far the loosest of the classing system games). Quests are all about the experience of the quest, and sometimes the quest item - not the XP. The loot is unreal, both in terms of uberness and how varied & fun it is. Its not just ARMOR & WEAPONS! Its cooking and alchemy and magic casting etc etc etc.

Its fun, try it At least for a month, its well worth the investment IMO - especially starting from the ground up with a good, friendly and helpful guild.

I believe they are working on a new free trial system for AC1 once they put up the new Turbine-run billing system. No guess on when that will happen though. If I had to guess I would say near the end of this year, a couple months before the expansion pack comes out.

so ac1 is one of those older games but the gameplay is the best? i'm for it.  but that's just because im pissed at ac2 because i cant turn on my graphics settings on max :-/ (1.4 ghz proc here lol) other than that, id be playing ac2 forever.

bah with the graphics, i've seen them and they are good enough for me . im just worried about the gameplay. i've been to acvault.com, read all the guides on the different toons and character classes.

 STRANGE - AC2 has had free trials TWO times LOL! The current free trial offer has been ongoing for roughly 6 months.

 Yet their much, much, older game, AC has no current free trial! It only had one free trial in the past, and it lasted for 1 month. (That was 2 1/2 years ago.)

The reason AC 1 doesn't have a long-running free trial yet, is because it can be easily exploited: players will take advantage of the free trial and create 6 characters(there is a max of 6 characters per server per account) to swear under their main char and raise their allegiance rank. An issue like this will have to be considered and somehow fixed before they come out with a free trial...and yes, Turbine will release a free trial once they have complete control over billing.
