hi people

right, ok, mounts. this is to american beta testers. How hard is it to actually aquire a mount? at whayt level have people got one and how long dd it take to get it?

 

another thing is the gryphons etc, do you control them of do they have set flight paths which it sticks to and is computer controlled?

and also, has the troll mount been confirmed yet?

The mounts are paid for once you get up to level 45. You go to a trainer and by them luike a spell. The Hypgrofon are computer ocntrols, they ahve a designated flight path.

I am not in the Beta but I know a thing or two. It isn't hard at all, the hardest part I think would be gathering the money you need after reaching lethe level requirement. You need to be level 40 to get a mount and it doesn't take long. All you have to do is go to the mount trainer and seller and purchase the skill and training required to use it.

The flying mounts are like taxis. You don't control them, you just choose where you want to go from a list of locations and it takes you there. So they stick to their flight paths, yeah.

The Troll mount has officially been announced. It is the raptor that so many people wanted so badly.

Yea, preaty much.. like all the high spells and trade skills it's expensive. I checked it out this morening in there forum for mounts and pe for the hunter class. It cost near 100g I think, well something like that. I could be wrong.

Mounts require you to be lvl 40+ before you can buy one.

Mounts cost 100gold

Mounts require the skill riding whatever_it_is which (I think) takes 100skill points to learn.

By lvl 45 (as someone already said) you should be able to do this, no problem

At this time, you cannot learn to ride another factions mount.  Blizzard has said they should put this in later, however.  Also, Warlocks (I think) get a summoned mount at some lvl, much like the Paladin/Shadow Knights of Everquest.
