And what else would you expect? Clans in L2 have limited space. Don't take this personal, its just the way it is. Why should a clan aspiring to power invite someone who can not help attain that goal?

Why should they outright invite you? It isn't WoW where knotheads run around spamming "wanna join my guild?" and sending blanket invites to everyone in the zone.

Worth, you need to prove it in L2.

The majority of new players are bored WoW transients looking for someing new to amuse them until they decide to return to WoW anyway, none of them will survive or amount to anything. All they do is bitch about the grind and ask for money and gear because they can't be bothered to take the time to figure out the economy.

If a clan didn't keep you after 40 (graduating the academy) hmmm....maybe they didn't see the value of keeping you on based on your performance / interaction with them. If Sovrath kicks me from his guild at 40...well thats the way it goes. I understand if he has the choice between a level 70 and a level 40, well although it may hurt my feelings a little, I undrstand...and I will level up and kill him...as many times as possible  J/K

dont try put the wow tag on me, i have been playing lineage 2 since chronicle 5 on and off....i dont have the time to grind to the highest lvl...i like lineage 2 its a good game but i would like to be able to experience the game to its fullest..i dont see why letting more people get to max level will make the game lesser for it..if the pvp is as good as you say, let players get to the highest lvl in a less amount of time...you shouldn't have a problem with this,.unless you are an elitst and dont want people to be as high a leveled player as you are

lineage 2 would get more subs if they let more people experience the end game....after all its supposed tobe a pvp game not a pve grind fest, i have yet to experience pvp in lineage 2.

You are correct about the grind, nice they are fixing that.

I don't care how many people are what, hell I'm starting a new server and I am currently level 15. Looking forward to the speedy grind. I'm no "elitist" with video games...I just have been with L2 for a very long time and understand how it works.

If you are no WoW knothead, don't worry about it. You know I'm right when I say it like that though, they are like a plague to all of our games. They roll in demanding that they "wowify" them and leave after a week or so after they don't amuse them. They have been no boon to mmo's. Game after game has tried to emulate the WoW style and self destructed in the attempt.

I play mmos mainly to have fun, and thus wow fits me perfectly. It almost sounds as if your discussing work when talking about L2. I don't feel forced to do anything when I play wow. Everything I do is because I want to do it. It's fun. I have been playing my level 70 warrior on and off since I first started playing wow. I have never been in a hurry to get anywhere. I like exploring new places and meeting new monsters, completing new quests and adventuring in instanced dungeons.

lol well we don't  do that as we are a bit of a family. Sort of once you join you are part of the family no matter what (well unless caught scamming, cheating, etc)

Though if you ever need to kill me you will have to get that Gladiator running. Dwarf , er.. not so much.

We are talking about different kinds of freedom, mate. You are talking about exploring new places and adventuring, while Lineage 2 is about social freedom: you decide how you want to play.

L2 also has a full open world that rivals most other MMOs in terms of size, with hardly any instancing aside from whatever they put in while I was away.

    Its free roaming and non-linear.
