I love WoW, but lately I've run into the problem that I cant get new gear or progress due to lack of time and the fact that I need to be in a high end raiding guild. Another major problem is how dependant I have to be of 24 other people showing up on raid nights to be able to get into Hyjal/BT. I would like to find a game that still is similar to WoW in the sense that you have to group to advance, still is large and popular, but that the end content can be be done with less people. I dont know how the end content for FFXI is, but I enjoyed that game style also. I would appreciate any help and information that anyone can provide.

Well I would suggest getting out of the brainwashed EZ-mode MMOG style WoW has drilled into your head because there are not many ike it. If you want a game with good end game content I would go with one of the games that has been around a little longer such as FFXI or EQ2.

How is end game content for FFXI? I know that when I was playing the game forced you group a lot, but I never found it necessary to make groups bigger than 3-5 people. Do you require a guild to be able to advance further once you cap at level?
