Looking for a free online experience with 128mb of ram and a 4mb graphics card and windows me

Man this is emberassing this old cpu was given to me mostly we use it for email, work stuff, and gamefaqs.com. I plan on getting a cpu within the next few months and probably getting into anarchy online that game seems most interesting right now. Anyways im looking for any good free online experience it does not have to have graphics ive always wanted to get into a mud game but graphics would be nice if possible at all even pictures, I want something thats fun to actually play with others and that has depth im kind of burned out on my console and ds right now and been longing for an online experience thanks everyone.

 

Im pretty open minded I like many genres.

Since you can go online with that computer and with that spec, I think the only game that can run is runescape

Well I did look into runescape it seemed laggy like I said it can be mud based if need be I just want a good online experience.

Hmm I think such a comp can only support browser based/ dos mmos. And I dont think AO will run with such low ram/ graph card (but the game is quite bad so no loss there). Any 3D mmo require at least 512 ram and a 128 graph card if you want to go into towns.

Also I was saying when I get my new cpu I will be getting ao, but I need a good online experience for now. I guess im in more of a mood of a good fantasy web based game sci fi might be cool to.

I played a few muds, and i liked them for the most part. The one I lliked the most of all was called The Carrion Fields.  Mostly a PVP mud but its still a blast to play (if you like Muds)

You do know that upgrading only the cpu will not let you play better games, you need more ram, at elast one gig to play real mmos and a graph card thats decent to play mmos.

use eBay and buy a new video card some new ram and a better operating system or even a new pc.

Otherwise any text based or 2d game and make sure you have Java updated and Flash, there are a few grafic based browers games like Dofus which might work, but I don't think you will find that there is that much of a choice for games you can play, good luck.

Your really going to have a limited choice,  for a few hundred buck you could get a  to a bare bones system that would be at least 10X better than what you have. Go earn some money, or if you got a local PC shop go ask about doing some work for them in trade - it worked for me when I was a kid.
