People do not loose their jobs or loose their keys or loose their sense of sight or loose fights. They lose their jobs, lose their keys, lose their sight, and lose fights.
When did this start? I've been noticing it only within the past few months. Surely people have been making the mistake for years, but when did it get so prevalent? And unfortunately, it's something that spell checker won't catch. I doubt a grammar check would, either.
