Well I don't think it will start monday, I have a feeling they will release the date of when it does. Or else they are just releasing info on pre-ordering... which would be a let down but if you have every followed an MMO before, you are use to it.
Not that it matters but it is WAR not WaR. Just in case you didn't know.

The short time gamestop had too much info revealed they showed a 9 day ob only for the SE's. Maybe the OB is longer for the CE's but noone knows.
that was the logic i was following , iv heard from a friend at best buy its going with the 4th since of the new pre orders, and us with CE's can get in earlier.
She may be completely wrong, but i hope not.
Damn it my computer is in Milwaukee right now, I am going to have to bring her home so I can download the client on my own internet. I think someone might notice me if I am dling a large file like that over their wifi. (I don't have internet set up in my apartment yet.)

if the open beta should start monday, i guess it would be for those who gotten the CE allready. than, after 1-2 weeks most other ppl can join, to avoid over population from start of open beta...
i preordered regular and got an OB code. The website says "Please check back on the 4th for detailed instructions on entering the OB" so my guess is tommorow. I will be very happy because i really wanna play this game XD

Very possible, they all seem pretty eager to drop the NDA asap, just going by their interviews and news articles.
I don't assume OB will be at 4th August.
It will be probably 1 month prior to the release, which is 23th August, and will last for 2 weeks max.
Plus, CE and SE pre-orders will start OB at the same time, they won't differentiate it at all. That's my bet.

doubtful, they have 750k beta signup and there's no way in hell they can manage to get them all in under 2 weeks time. That's assuming they will let them all in.
They could make a couple of waves, each wave last 1-2 week and can't play after
or
they could decide to put a $5 guaranteed beta spot and then randomly select up to capacity
No beta ever had that many signups so it's really hard to tell what their going to do
I think August 4th is the official date to start handing out the Bonus Pre-order boxes. Gamestop already had them and let me pick mine up, but they were not set up on a display or on the shelves. That will happen on Aug 4th. If you guys think OB starts tomorrow, keep dreaming lol.

Stress test is a later test in open beta, Most have a open beta t oget the NDA out and get all the stupid bugs out of the way. Then in open beta eventualy its stress test for well the servers, then if the game has a head start, it has it. I think us Ce will prob be a week and other a few days.
Looks like open beta is about to start. I just checked the Beta center site (Time is currently 4:37AM EST. and i dont know why im awake) and its currently down. Might be one of the first steps to start the open beta. YAY : DDDDDDD

All the SE preorders are getting their codes in some kind of box it seems.
Dont get my hopes up
for they shall be crushed once again
All I know about are the CE which I have, and regular edition pre-orders.
edit: Nevermind, I guess it means "standard edition". So the SE are getting, more or less, what the CE pre-orders are getting. Whatever.

Ther term PRE-OREDER is not for SE or CE is does not matter. if you did pre order either edition and never got a code it's because they didn't have them yet and I would be calling now finding out where yours is since you should have gotten it by now. All Pre-Oder boxs should come with
1. OPEN Beta Access
2. Live Game Headstart, it does not say anywhere that CE gets more time so I do not think they do.
3. Rittenbach's Portable Camp
4. Sentinel's Amber Band - The ring varies depending on where you buy it from.
So I got 2 keys for thei one Beta key and One item key. When you get you Retail Box it will come with another key either SE or CE and that is the only difference between the two.
The Length of head start is actually being debated, but in the end they said was CE deserve a few more, im guessing a week for Ce, 3 days for regular. Also if you put in CE codes and register a regular edition i believe you dont keep your head start guy and it gets locked.
Keep in mind us CE get something else not mentioned yet.
