Is it even worth downloading and playing while I wait for War? or decide to re-activate my eq2 account?

 

I actually loved guild wars back in the day when it was only Prophecies. Only problem is I sort of dont want to go spend roughly $60-$70 for two more games + the expansion. I guess I just want to know what the population would be like? Last Time I logged in it was terrible, barely ever saw anyone.

 

I really wish they made packs like most games, where you could get like factions+nightfall for like $45.

Prophecies will provide quite a lot of content and enjoyment on it's own; buying the two additional games and expansion isn't necessary. The population tends to be around the "gathering points" such as Lion's Arch or Kamadan, or in trickier missions. My suggestion if you want to find people is to join a guild; there you'll get help and players to chat with. Additionally I'm quite sure there are packages that include, for example, Factions and Nightfall.
