WAR's Graphics

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Since WAR's announcement I have been excited about this game.  <mod edit>  Are the graphics just toned WAY down for the beta?  This game looks promising, I just really hope the graphics are better.

    already publicly stated animations and graphics are all on low/placeholder settings....in fact they add more lightintg and textures daily. They are doing it by hand

    i mean like seriously,

    you could compare to maybe a low budget asian-made mmo at the least,

    but runescape............

     

    Thats just pushing it too far.

    EDIT: haha mod already got to this one, dunno if it was for "NDA breaking", or just for trolling.  but i'd say the latter as saying it looks like runescape is so obviously not true odds are the rest of the NDA breaking stuff was a complete lie.

    Everything creates huge amounts of negativity on the internet, that's what the internet is for: Negativity, porn and lolcats.

    I'm not a troll, and was not trying to start an argument.  Just whenever I look at the screenshots on their website, or watch my friend play beta...The environment just looks so terrible and has almost no detail.  I know WAR's graphics are better than runescape.. but whenever I look at this screenshot: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v643/Mike_redknight/graveyard.jpg

    It reminds me of runescape.

    thats a Low quality badly-angled shot.

     

    to save our computers from imploding they are going to use some tricks to make things look 3d without having to actually fill in the whole space.

     

    thats how it is in warcraft, and about every other 3d mmo out there.

    Sweet Jesus! I played Runescape for a good year...maybe a little over a year. I can tell you without any doubt in the world that WAR will look 100x better than Runescape EVER will. No question at all.
