Was the voice chat worth it? CHIME IN HERE!

Howdy folks! I'm working on an upcoming article, and I want to know what you think.

 

Was the voice chat worth it for Sony to add in, this late in the development cycle? Are they trying to cater to more WoW players? Is it the feature you were waiting for before getting back in the game?

    I never use it. I like the anonymity of the net and voice chat is too personal.

    Hi There,

    i read that Sony created the Voice chat not primarily for EQII, but as well for their other games they

    are running.

    On a side note to that i think they did an Awesome job , i realy have a lot of fun with it,

     most of the people figure out pretty fast how to set things up. And for me the Quality is fantistic.

    iT IS GREAT

    my only gripe is that you do not have a chat tree and that makes it hard to find PPL.   It is pretty much a here/now chat system so if you have a freind that is in guild chat and you are in raid chat it is hard to locate them unlike 3rd party systems that have chat trees.

    yes sony is slowly integrating that same voicechat system in all their games, so you can expect it to be included in all their future games too.

    Its a good aproach cause it offers some additional value to current gamers, and also gives them a good way to test the voicechat with lots of users (probably much more users than you would have if you would test it in the beta for a new game).

    For me at least i wont ever use it,but hey its free and you cant knock that price
