Did you play to lvl 35 yet? Nothing past lvl 40 is in game yet and no quest when you reach lvl 35.

There is a lot of beta still needed.

You again? Aren't you the guy bashing Aion on every thread because you were saying that Aion must started like 1-2 years ago ? And that you are angry like a little chiled for not playing the game early?

Again , stop bashing Aion because you are crying for not playing it early , and make yourself a good by staying away from it till it goes live. Or just go and bash other game, because I for sure will NOT cry for the fact that you don't want to play Aion anymore , or because you don't have faith anymore in the NcSoft staff.

People will be much more critical of Aion once the official forums are up than I am. So start getting used to it. I played CBT3 for a few hours, that's all the experience I have right now and a lot of content is missing.

I'll say whatever I like about the game and dislike, that's why we discuss it, not to praise it and slimeball it. I see both good and bad sides in Aion. A lot of content isn't in yet.

    And don't quote me again.

Can I quote you please? You can say whatever you want but that doesnt inheretly make it right. I have a very hard time believing that you have experienced Aion enough to see that 'a lot of content is missing'. What you have been complaining about is lvl40+ content. Have you played any beta past lvl 40? Is that possible in 'a few hours'? Were you playing in english? If not, do you understand korean? if not, Im starting to see why youre complaing.  I have to say that most other sources and reviews i have spoken to and read conflict with what youre saying.

I said don't qoute me. I have no interest in talking to fanbois who haven't even played the game. Bye.

Using the word fanboi is always easier than bringing facts or arguments. It has consequences though.

Discussions in forums are easily solved by putting more arguments over the table than your debate rival(s), saying "I played beta, you didn't so STFU" isn't enough.

Well it is my understanding that there wasn't much content 35+ in CBT3 because NCsoft didn't want to reveal much mor ethen they did and still wanted to give CBTers something to look foward to come release.  Anyways, regardless of what I hear, I will play and find out for myself come release day ^_^

PlayNC got hurt badly with Tabula Rasa with "too many beta testers" Garriotts words not mine.

So they have decided to do something different to try and avoid another Auto Assault and Tabula Rasa I expect.

Lol testing only in Korea, because they know it's a crappy grinder, and Koreans eat that garbage up.  If they tested in NA or EU they'd have to deal with angry people asking why the game is such a grind.

no. beta testing is not a trial. they have tested all bugs and what needs to be tested in korea. in the preview they will just need to test the translation,

beta does not = free trial.

Really? Cause so far, all the European/American people who have tested it report the oppossite.

    enyhtriel

    mark

    Zyuu

    English speaking testers

    Play.tm

    Eurogamer

Gotta love the ammount of people who will have to swallow their prejudices once this game releases.

Whatever the reasons are, it will give many people in EU and NA the feeling to be less respected, and in that way I find it a kinda stupid move. But then, I stopped believing gaming companies know what they do a long time ago.

Wow if someone gains their level of respect from a gaming company hosting a closed beta in their country then they are a very pathetic person IMHO.

Games I've played/tried out:WAR, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, AoC, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, Vangaurd, FFXI, D&DO, Lineage 2, Saga Of Ryzom, EvE Online, DAoC, Guild Wars,Star Wars Galaxies, Hell Gate London, Auto Assault, Grando Espada ( AKA SoTNW ), Archlord, CoV/H, Star Trek Online, APB, Champions Online, FFXIV, Rift Online, GW2.

    Game(s) I Am Currently Playing:

    GW2 (+LoL and BF3)

I've read the reviews of beta testers that have played it and it seems so far that things have gone good so far. The reason for so little content past 40+ is pretty negligible as they just wanted to test the applicable areas and effects of skills, the rest of the content is there as they will put in the KOB to test the stresses and find any more bugs.

The one thing i do like is the fact that they will put in a program to help keep one side from dominating the other and help keep balance race wise. The opinions of those that think this game will flop because there's been no advertising or no traditional beta do not understand that some people will get to see and hear about this game very soon, the advertising has already begun with a few interviews already and more will be coming.

Well even if this ignorance turns out to be true, I'm still going to play.  I like grinding ^_^ I doubt that will be the case though.  Ppl in cbt3 were getting to max level by the end of the testing.  I enjoy long grinds because it means most people who have characters at end-game at the very least, have put in sufficient time to get to know how their class works.

You ppl here at mmorpg.com are so funny, u always cry about grind. No matter what u do and no matter how much u dislike "grinding", I am 100% sure that you would love to explore the game and "grind" a little bit just to sneak under the hood of the game. Of course if your goal is to be the best in 1 month I'm sure you fail, and because of that I wonder why you actually bother to play mmorpg's?
