Yeah yeah i know, if your too poor to shelve out a couple bucks here and there, you shouldn't even consider this game. A few bucks here and there is a bargin, for the amount of stuff you can do, compared to other mmor-pegs.
I've heard it once, I've heard it again. The main issue is less the need to pay (although it is part of it), but more that it is announced as an f2p, but included an "optional" cash shop item, that is impossible to play without. Sure, people say that you can play this game without have to buy this "optional" item. Yeah, right. With this game, playing it without rebirth cards is like playing Ninjabread Man.

To get point, watch vid-eo.
It has jumping, it'll make your life a living hell, it's really bad, and take a pick, anything is probably better than this.

Rebirth costs $8, $10 if you want a more customizable look. It can only be done once every 3 weeks, at most.
The game is an absolute grind fest without it, but at a small fee (about $11/mo, if you rebirth as often as possible), it becomes much more casual friendly as levels 1-20 are relatively quick and there's some free advancement that comes along with aging (week wait).
Given that it's skill-based and characters can restart at level 1 and keep their skills, it's a relatively unique advancement system (compared to the typical level grinders) and almost that alone makes it worth giving it a shot and actually (gasp) paying a little bit to try this new system out. I've paid $50 for a crappy game before, so rebirthing 6 times about covers the cost of buying WoW, not including the subscription.
Sure, it's not exactly F2P, but it's a decent game, I think.
