Myself and some friends have been playing CoH/CoV for 3+ years now and we are looking for something new to play. With all the choices out there we are having trouble finding a good mmo to play.  We are looking for something that is low to no cost to start up and something with out a monthly fee. If anyone could suggest a good mmo that would be awesome. ......and NO! selling out and going with WoW isn't an option...LOL

    Good free to play mmo's are rare. Shitty free to play mmo's are plentiful. You get what you pay for. I'm currently playing LoTRO and loving it (wasted 4 years of my life on WoW) If i have to ever lvl a toon up again in WoW with that horrible community I will commit suicide. Lotro's community is simply awesome hardly a kid anywhere to annoy me. I had no idea an mmo's players could be like this. And you can play for 9.99 a month if ya buy 3 months worth.

    As for a decent (well as good as can be expected from a "free" MMO) might I suggest the following:

    Fiesta  Online        Perfect World       Guild Wars(If you happen to LIKE shitty immature communities)    Knight Online     Rappelz(Best choice) 

    These Free MMO's are somewhat better than most   def check out Rappelz.    Hope this helps!    Im sure there are a few other decent ones but these are the ones I am familiar with. Depends on what type of MMo your into of course........

    Depends, what are you looking for?

    Skill based, grindy, combat, more details would help.

    I guess I really didn't think of that.  I am willing to try any kinda of game style. As long as its fun and is interesting. However I am kina noob to these boards so I am not sure what the real difference is between skill based, grindy, and combat.
