Mabinogi wont work.

in Mabinogi

So, when I installed it I couldnt run it, it said something about the server blabla, tried again 1 day later said the same, and now I did uninstall it and tried to reinstall it and now I cant reinstall it even it says something about couldnt extract blabla, try to reboot the comp if problem exist, and I've done that 15 times now.



And I can ask in the mabinogi forums cause the forums are the most slow forums ever, takes me 1min to get a fucking page up.

    in order for others to help you with your problem, its better that you post the exact error message, or the message that pops up whenever you try to login. the words "bla bla" simply cant be interpreted even by the genius of geniuses. i suggest write the exact  error message in a piece of paper first then try to include that in your posts so that others may understand you or take a screenshot of the error and post it. probably thats why nobody was also helping you in the official mabinogi forums because they cant understand exactly what "bla bla" meant.

    BUT i have a doubt that you are not living in north america or australia thats why you cant access the game. mabinogi is currently ONLY for north american and oceanic residents. all other places are ip blocked.

    Another game that is doomed then, just like that game which is based on ancient China, and its name ends with USA... Some people take their love for their country a bit too far.

    Mabinogi is a scam: They lure you to their website with their ads, gather your personal information when you register, and have you download and install a huge program on your computer. Once you have installed the program, contrary to what you excepted you can't get to play an MMO, and the error message isn't even clear enough to figure out what's wrong.

    But the problem is most likely that you aren't living in North America,Nexon just doesn't bother to tell anywhere that you'd have to live in North America to be allowed to play. If you want you can use a proxy located on North America to bypass the IP block, but it's more trouble than it's worth and the ping while using proxy is bad.

    Perhaps they think only Americans can afford computers? :} Not that I have anything against Americans, just have something against discriminating people because they live in a different country.

    You actually need a good ping to play Mabinogi.

    Also Mabinogi is only licensed to NEXON NA instead of the european branch of NEXON.  Granted you aren't missing much in the game unless you can only play free games, Of which Mabinogi completely and aboslutly requires you to use the cash shop.

    I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

    The game is out in a few places as of now, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong-Kong, china, and NA. Granted that most of those are in asia, there is not a European version. The only reason its not in Europe is because Nexon of america can't do that, at all...

     

    As for the game being entirely dependent on the cash shop? Thats a little bit of a stretch, It makes the game about 3x better, sure, but Not entirely dependent on the cash shop. You can actually get along perfectly fine without the cash shop. >_> Anyway, if the cash shop is that big a deal to you, you can get an illegal Kssn and play the korean version. -.-

     

    Oh, and how to fix the problem? When you install it and it says choose a file to install mabinogi, Just change the file to MabinogiNA. That should fix it. :P

     

    Oh, lastly, nothing deserves to be insulted by being compared to cabal, Nothing.

    i am sorry i have to insoult this game... i hate it cause of that i cant play it either:( so i guess i can call it worse then wow till they can send it out anywhere close to where i live atleast... i really hate when games are restricted to smaller areas and not the whole earth:(

    THEY SHALL START GIVING IT OUT IN EUROPE AND EVERYBODY WILL BE HAPPY
