Population which server?

Which is the best traditional Server to play on? and what is it like? PvP against the other two nation? and then RvR?
Also if playing on PvP server are alot of players like ohh i see me a newb time to pwn him/her?
Basically what I am asking is if I want pvp and pve do i need to go to a traditional server or pvp server?
What is the general population on the servers? (ex. Is it dead like EQ?)
Also Do i need to download Foundations and Frontiers, if i Download ToA, the new engine and Catacombs?

On the right side as you scroll down you can see the various server clusters and the ammount of people on them. After that it's your call. The servers in the clusters are linked and share all zones except housing.

Join the Classic Server... but i say wait for Origins Server, should be much more noob friendly.
