So this guy pops on the official forums to ask about a refund policy, only to have his message edited, but not replied too.

What is up with that? They can take the time to edit out a "Canceled my account" but can't reply with at least a "No"?

Don't really see a problem with that to be honest. The original poster is a muppet for asking for a refund for a pre-paid 6 months (present or no present) and he posted account info.

The moderator mentions what was edited and no MMO company has it in their policy to answer direct account questions like this publicly.

The practice of editing/deleting posts that state the posters cancellation of subscription is blunt, pathetic and desperate. Of course they don't want everyone going around saying "This game is so bad that I'm leaving", but referring to it being "against forum guidelines" to post "account details" (i.e. its soon-to-be nonexistence) is just the kind of mindset that makes you wonder who their grandfathers were, and if it is a dominant gene...

Lufkin is known to edit users posts, seen it myself. When you think about all that's wrong with FC and AoC, you really need to queue Twilight Zone music...or perhaps the Beverly Hillbillies.

Yeah I dont ever recall of any mmo company doing refunds for prepaid access, no matter the amount of time.

    I agree.

Strange how some complain about the standard policies.

Do they employ the very same forum nazi's that SWG used to employ by any chance?

It is typical of the forums.

My current favourite is a guy asking the mods if he could get a weekly update on what is being worked on by the devs and put on the forums.  The post quickly derails and he is posting more and more often asking people to back out of his thread.  Ironically, the moderator does make an appearance only to edit a couple of posts - doesn't even reply to the OP.

Finally, the thread is left with the OP asking if the mod is on holiday as he has had no response - totally oblviious to the fact the mod has been in his thread, edited and left again...
