now ask yourself why they can have people from the public testing it now and Darkfall can't?

    diffrence in testing strag

Yes, FE's strategy is, we have a game worth putting to the public, give them the game and see what we need to do to make it releasable. DF's strategy seems to be to treat their idiotically faithful fans with disdain, make them search around the internet, learning Greek for a possible snippet of info, and don't let them see the game at all costs! Why, I'm not sure.

really thats very smart dont make things up because the public will get to test it so hence i bet things will show up. just depends how there npcs really helped lol

LOL!!! and u know this how??? god....do you even know how many times they have announced a public testing??? LOTS!!! FE announced it once during their development and look....they are alpha testing AS WE SPEAK!!! whats DF doing??? absolutely nothing at all...FE will probably release before anyone here gets to even beta test the game...what a joke lol

Ultima is over 10 years old, it would never make it if it just came out looking like it did originally. People might hate that games come out early  but look how FAR games came from launch to after a few years. EQ2, Vanguard, AO, EQ, EVE... all those games grew and grew over the years WHILE people enjoyed them and got better and better. If you're working on the same game with the same engine for 10 years with the same beta testers, the game will have almost the same amount of bugs and problems because its the millions of different players and systems used that cause all the problems.

Not to mention, how do you expect the company to make money? MMOs cost around 50 million to make in a few year production cycle. After 10-12 years, they are having to pay 120million or so. Then with their outdated engine and old style gameplay, they pull in what? 200k subs at BEST. So they made 10mil on copies, half of that goes to their developer I imagine, so 5mil. They would drown in the water and be labeled the worst gaming company ever to walk the earth. Use some business sense and logic! (Take note my numbers are generalized and not perfectly accurately, just used to prove a point.)

Fallen earth is at 8 years in dev they just started alpha so  whats your point again : )

Fallen Earth isn't out and therefore hasn't proven it's worth even mentioning. It's on virtually no ones radar and more or less in the same boat as DF. If you cannot see my point then that's really sad.

No no, Fallen Earth is NOT in the same boat as darkfall. Go look on Youtube for the 4, yes 4, videos where the Fallen Earth developer takes MMOArmy or something like that through a tour of the game and a lot of it's features. Yes, they actually SHOWED their game, which puts them way ahead of darkfall.

Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic
    Played: SWG, Guild Wars, WoW
    Playing: Eve Online, Counter-strike
    Loved: Star Wars Galaxies
Waiting for: Earthrise, Guild Wars 2, anything sandbox.
